Media advisory: Nottingham campaign for safety of Aiden Aslin and other POWs held by Russia

Nottingham Ukraine Solidarity Campaign (NUSC): Campaign for the safety and release of Aiden Aslin and all other POWs held by Russia

Why: Three foreign nationals (Aiden Aslin from Nottinghamshire, Shaun Pinner from Bedfordshire and Brahim Saadoun from Morocco), were serving in the Ukrainian Marines and army, they are now prisoners of war. The Nottingham Ukraine Solidarity Campaign is calling for the release of Aiden, Shaun and Brahim.

What: NUSC will hold a protest at Old Market Square, Nottingham with speakers from the local community.

When: 10:30am Sunday 26th June

Where: Old Market Square, Nottingham

Who: NUSC was formed in the immediate aftermath of the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine and has been running events since the end of Feb. Past events include a large 500 person march through Nottingham, a vigil for child victims of war, a die-in protest and events to mark monthly anniversaries of the start of the invasion.
